As we take a break from editing the One Scene exercises (that many of you have actually completed already), we are very lucky to have an alumnus of our program visit us today: Jordan Gzesh. Here are links to more back ground on Jordan's career as a DP (Director of Photography) / Cinematographer.

Today we simply need to put this One Scene exercise to bed-- at least shooting-wise. Some of you need to film a scene today and others of you will be ready to start editing.
Regardless of where you are today, the due date for this project remains Fri, 9/22 at the start of class. This is a deadline we all need to hit.
Today we'll learn the basics of editing on Sony systems. If you prefer to work on Adobe Premiere, that's an option on these systems as well. If you prefer Final Cut Pro X, we can work with you too - but it will be a little trickier.
We will have the entire class period to film our scenes tomorrow. We'll regroup at the end of class tomorrow and determine if everybody in each crew has wrapped production.
Scripts should be approved and crews should meet to schedule production times. Parental consent forms are needed ASAP.
Shot lists!
Today we'll continue with the T5i training, focusing on sound (shotguns and booms) and tripods and camera movements. We'll receive the "One Scene" assignment and can even check out equipment after school today for the long weekend if 1) we have received your signed contract and 2) you're cleared to shoot (parental consent will be signed ASAP if needed.) 3) You have submitted a shot BEFORE filming (this is important)!
Today we continue training on the Canon T5i and get hands on with the camera kits.
